I have trouble processing this quote tbh. So many conflicting ideas and semantical differences. Maybe he’s right, the words just are tough to translate.

The Dalai Lama disagrees. The purpose of life is to achieve happiness. However, he argues that service to others and living a pure life is the quickest way to happiness. There seems to be a fundamental disagreement between the two on what happiness really is, but beneath the surface, it really is the same thing.
