    1. You either have really big eyes or those are the tiniest ants I have ever seen in my entire life.

Putting them in her eyes put proteins on them. Yes they liked that. I’ve seen ants eat some pretty weird stuff in my life and by that I mean anything and everything alcohol is the most fun straight line to the alcohol curvy speckled line away from the alcohol, totally drunk ants.

    3. I’m so confused by all of this.

Why are you keeping your contacts on a napkin/tissue thingy?

Why are those ants so small?

Do you not have saline solution?

If your contacts were sitting there long enough for fuckin ANTS to come along there’s no way you’re able to re use these right? Please tell me these are daily drops and not something you planned on reusing. I’m very confused.🤣🤣🤣

    4. This is a pretty ballsy post. Telling the world you have a rabid ant infestation along with not storing your contact lenses properly

    5. Maybe they’re eating protein deposits? Very interesting. This also makes my eyes extremely uncomfortable

    6. Doctor told me not to shower with contacts in- ok so I’ll just leave them on some paper towels where they can dry out scratch my cornea

    7. I will make the assumption that its a similar case to butterflies landing on animals’s eyes for sodium

    8. I assume these lenses were meant for disposal, and you have no intent of putting them back in your eyes. otherwise why the fuck are you putting it on a napkin?

Your first problem was placing your contact lenses on a napkin.

Don’t do that to take a shower. they’ll dry out while sitting there, then you’ll need to trash them. or hydrate them and use anyway, and have super fucking irritated eyes, and risk of infection.

**carry a lens case with you. somewhere. you can even get something that sticks to an iphone, that you likely have. carry solution with you. you can get small bottles. the tradeoff of not having glasses is having to carry solution and a case with you.**

**I’m 45 years old with 2 kids. I’m talking to you like you’re my kid. grow up and keep your shit with you.**

edit: oh no it’s worse than I thought. you intended to put them back.

don’t ever FUCKING DO THAT. I’m serious. you’ll get a bad ass eye infection. and could lose your vision… in both eyes.

if you can’t take them out before a shower and place them somewhere safe, then take the shower WITH THEM.

you are on a high risk path to losing vision in BOTH OF YOUR EYES if you keep treating contacts like that.

edit 2: source: contact wearer for 10+ years till I stopped due to dry eyes.

I’ve seen every single post that’s come through here the past 3 or so years and uh.. yeah, this is a first for me. Well done, I guess?

    10. “You took out your contacts, left them there for a day, then ants starting eating them.”

There, I fixed it for you.

    11. Get your sugar tested. Sugar ants like urine of diabetics so they might like other fluids. Better safe than sorry.
