They do *not* care about anyone who is not white, not male. The military is a scam to get poor POC folks subsidized to government benefits while they use and abuse us. Literally, military service is painted as a gateway for college and steady paycheck and a means for homeownership and insurance coverage in service to one’s country (conscription by any other name is still….)
