You can’t wear shit in the summer. And spring is turning into summer-lite
_AYYEEEE on
I’m one of those mfs that likes it when it’s cold. I actually fuckin hate summer. It’s hot as shit, it’s sticky, there’s mosquitoes everywhere and I never have any energy to do anything. 90% of my free time during summer is spent bedrotting and looking at videos on my phone or playing video games. Shit, I’d even skip playing video games or watching videos just to lay in bed and not even sleep. It’s like I’m trying to time skip to an event but there IS no event
Just2Observe on
Yes it’s your fault. Fuck your matching hat, scarf and gloves in winter I can only dress for one exact temperature and then if I move a finger or go inside I instantly sweat more than over the entire summer.
Let me just show some skin for fuck’s sake!

It’s like what The Weeknd said I come alive in the fall time.

I dont have issues with the cold.
My problem are the shorter days. Waking up in darkness and coming home from work in darkness just feels unnatural.

Because I live in Houston and I’m sick of it being over 90° 70% of the year
My ass sat outside last year when it snowed. Just sat, relaxed and enjoyed the cool weather while watching the neighbors try to build a snowman out of 4 inches of snow.

Living in the south, and coming from triple digit summers. You learn to appreciate the bipolarity of the seasons. Plus, my winter fits are ready like it’s the first day of school.
_AYYEEEE on
Summer makes me wanna kill myself because why the fuck is it 86° at 10AM?? 3-4 months of pure sweaty hell and mosquitoes. Mosquitoes everywhere. Also bees and wasps. And if you don’t get to to out much, it feels like suffering for no reason. Give me that damn matching beanie and jacket(maybe), cause they nerfed winter too.

I live in South Florida, anything south of 75°F is considered cold weather lololol

People who live places where it gets freezing cold and stays that way all winter have a legit beef, but I live in the south where people complain when it gets nto the 40s and 50s.
I fully understand the northerners/upper Midwest where it can be subzero sometimes. Ain’t nothing enjoyable about that. Here, snow is a fun occurrence, but it’s a nuisance up there (shoveling snow repeatedly SUCKS). But southern “cold” beats the hell out of the summer for me.
Plus, it’s easier to dress for extreme cold than extreme heat. If it’s damn near 100 and humid, you can be butt nekkid and still hot/sweaty if you have to be outside for any length of time. If it’s 20 degrees, you can layer up and be reasonably comfortable for a while.

I grew up in the freezing AF Chicago winters now I live in the PNW and it’s spring three quarters of the year compared to Chicago. For fucks sake the grass turns green in winter here. So like long shorts sweat pants is really all you need.

I loathe the summer. If I was given the choice of living in a world where it was perpetually 20 degrees and a world where it was perpetually 85, I would take the 20 all day. I live in a big city. There is nothing more upsetting than walking into a place and having to smell people who don’t realize they got eau de 90 degrees on. And that’s before you factor in heat stroke, allergies, harder forms of yard work, etc. I just be mad from May to the end of October every year
FistPunch_Vol_7 on
I like Autumn and Spring because I can bring out the straight heat I got in the closet. The amount of hoodies and jackets I got at the ready. And I can bring the Timbs out? Yeah

I gotta have the heat. But spring and fall are perfect.

Cold weather actually hurts even when layering up. Hot weather is just uncomfortable. Id rather be a bit uncomfortable than in pain.

There are various levels of cold if it’s in the 30s, that’s fine. That’s a jacket. Some gloves ear cuffs a hot drink and your cozy.
When it is going down 0ass single digits and I have to wear thermos , ski socks, and jackets on top of another jacket. Of course it’s going to match because it’s all black and my lips are drying out every ten minutes.

I like cool/ cold weather because I am a fucking SWEATER under any sort of heat and I hate it. It’s so embarrassing walking around glistening in sweat while everyone else around you is dry. When it gets cool out I don’t sweat.

I love it. Let my hair get a break, let me wear my sweaters and hoodies! Let me be able to breathe! Let someone else’s lack of hygiene, not become even more of my problem!

My body just hates the cold, between the cold itself and the drop on air pressure…i can feel every injury I’ve ever gotten in life on top of my skin reacting as well. I just fall apart entirely.
Inside my apt is like 78 from mid October until late January and i wouldn’t have it any other way.

It’s easier to get warm when it’s cold. I’ll throw on a thermal, a sweater, some thick socks.
Fuck I’m doing when it’s scorched earth outside and humid as hell? Walk outside naked?

When I was a kid I loved winter because it meant snow days and school was closed. Now it just means paving the snow, watching out for the ice, and the chill in my bones. Now I prefer mild weather like spring and fall.

Love spring and fall. Summer and Winter nope I’ll pass. Spring and Fall are a nice happy medium. Not super hot, not super cold. If you get cold then throw on an extra layer. Get a bit hot wear some shorts. Plus no excessive heating or cooling bills. Can open my windows and the house is just a perfect temp most of the time.

I love all weather for different reasons.
The cold is great. Going for a morning run and feeling the cold air hit your lungs. Cold, windy nights on the beach. Long hikes through the woods. Camping. Getting a fire going and watching a movie or playing some retro RPGs or reading. Hot cocoa, hot tea, soup season.
Such a great time of the year.

If it’s blazing hot and humid the only relief is going inside with AC. If I’m cold I can wear warm clothes and be good to go outside.
tasteslikechikken on
In my defense, I absolutely hate the cold, lived it, got the tshirt! And once I started to develop chillblains I was through.
I was happy to give up almost every coat and boot…(I had to keep some, for visiting family) I moved as far south as I could and still be in the CONUS so I could be in weather I can handle. Unlike some who move here, my AC sits at 78F during the day,75 at night, though when its chilly enough down here, I will open the windows instead.
These days, anything under 70F is chilly. I don’t mind an 80F Christmas without snow (we got to the beach)
I can deal with most bugs down here, except them damn palmettos.
