Going through my grandmother’s old pics, I really liked this photo of her and her older brother. I’ve only seen a few pictures of them together. There was five years difference between the two of them. They dressed sharp back in the day.

Members of the the anti-fascist Cervi family. They were peasant farmers whose seven sons were executed by firing squad as reprisals of two fascist officials killed earlier (Dec. 28, 1943). The oldest was 42 and youngest 21. 1935 (1920×1313)
