It’s not true other problems are a distraction, and we gotta stop calling human rights abuses and harm happening to people right now ‘distractions.’
Is wealth inequality a core part of the reason things are so bad? Absolutely. But telling people to shut up about other problems and pretending we can only tackle one at a time is not correct or helpful, for anyone who does say such things.
