I know some people just like to either see significant plot progression or big fights every episode, but for me those things hit way harder when you get these moments mixed in, makes you care more about the characters.

Small moments don’t mean shit when the main part of the story is atrocious.

Yep this is my biggest problem with JJK. There is no actual setup, very little in the way of training arcs or character development/bonds. You can tell it’s a series very much tailored for shounen fans that just want to see one big fight after another.
