What exactly is the interesting fact? That the father mamaged to raise a son, despite his Down Syndrom? That his son became a doctor, despite his Down Syndrom genes? Both results are good things for them and I wish them well! But putting that on a pedestal is just ableism and inspiration porn.

I thought that people with DS were often told to not have kids because the chances of their kid having DS were incredibly high.
