Don’t worry. In the worst case scenario you’ll be able to see the city destroyed and reconstructed again.

(I really, really hope to be proven wrong)

Give it back to Germany and they will take care.
That is what the red pest does to country’s and Cities

I cannot understand how some people defend this sort of brutalist architecture. It’s an eyesore.

At least karma struck back at those Soviet bastards for destroying the castle and that architectural abomination they erected in its place was never actually finished – sure, they slapped a new paint on it here and there this one time for Putin’s visit, maybe even made one of the elevators working, but that’s basically it. Moreover, the whole building was slowly tilting and sliding due to the ground being unstable from when the castle’s tunnels were blown up. No wonder they finally tore the whole sorry thing down last year.

The locals called it “an empty tooth”, and for a good reason, though I myself prefer another nickname: “Revenge of the Prussians”.

    5. It got hit pretty bad by the RAF and suffered more damage in the battle of Königsberg. It was a ruin, when the war ended. Only people to blame for its destruction are the Nazis.

    6. Humanity should have never stopped building castles. I don’t care how inefficient and costly they are they’re dope as hell.
