You gotta realize: Trump not releasing the Epstein files and getting their show trials of major democrats the same way they “think” the left “got” show trials of Trump was a major blow to folks like MTG. The religious zealot conspiracy theory wing of MAGA if you will.
The deal is they accept the corruption and absolute mockery that is Trump but he hands them the wins they always wanted.
They don’t understand why, having campaigned on finally “getting” all those dastardly liberals they imagined made up the epstein files: all of a sudden they are being told to drop it while liberals are all over social media using their exact same strategy on them that they used for the past 4 years.
They aren’t going to turn left or even regret their votes for Trump, that’s not how a cult works: but this is a major, major crack in their collective confidence and psyche. Many of these folks might just stop turning out….
