I’ve actually had one of these before! It’s wild how a single hair can pierce skin like that and cause redness.

Remove it and put triple antibiotic ointment on it. Doesnt look bad but the feet are a magical breeding ground for infection so better to be safe than footless.

    3. I used to get those a lot when I groomed dogs. I occasionally get them on the bottom of my feet from my cat’s hair. It hurts, but luckily it’s easy to remove.

    4. Damn, that’s a nasty one. It’s amazing how deep a hair can get in there. I wonder what kind of havoc that would cause to your body if the end broke off. I guess if you can see it through your skin, it’s not very deep, so you could probably extract it by other means if that happened.

    5. Help me understand. Is that a 3 inch long hair that follows that dark line down the side of your foot? Because that’s fucking insane. But my dog has super sharp hair that gives me splinters pretty regularly but they hurt like hell.

    6. weird how my hairs have the ability to leave my head silently and you contract new hair on a whim…

    7. That line going down your foot is a sign of an infection. Get that checked out immediately.
