      Yay? I guess?

You have no idea how much I want to see the good in people and think people are just misinformed. But even in this statement her xenophobia is on full display.

    3. I wish more republicans actually gave a shit about the cost of living and healthcare it affects everyone, not just the liberals they desperately want to punish.

What is going on with her?

I saw the Epstein files stance as a broken clock being right twice a day.

    5. Comfortable-Policy70 on

Will she vote against the current repub plan and in favor of the Democratic plan or will she just call a press conference again?

I really don’t know what to think of this MTG redemption arc this season. It’s really lazy writing

      >Also, I think health insurance and all insurance is a scam, just to be clear!

“God, if only someone could figure out another way to ensure healthcare for the people ….” *looks around at almost every other 1st world nation on earth*

I’m thinking she might be trying to get herself reelected.

She’s such a piece of trash.

I’ve agreed with way too many of her tweets in the last week. I would like to stop ty

Is she planning on a Senate run? Shes still an asshole but it seems she is trying to at least help people in her own angry at life kind of way.

Illegals don’t have tax benefits, Marge. That’s your party LYING like they love to do. However, you are right taking away ACA tax credits are killing all of us citizens that rely on them.

    12. So Marge thinks everyone should have healthcare, and that insurance is bullshit. Wonder if she’s realized what she’s indirectly stumping for now.

**This reads like a dual personality disorder or a schizophrenic diatribe.**

She’s just a fuck everyone else personality, that is until it hits home, more directly **HER** home.

Her path, her family, her kids and finally her constituents are going to have to pay so much more for healthcare.

Basically she is really concerned with one thing above all **HER MONEY**

Health insurance is a scam. Source: am a physician.

And UHC is still a pile of hot garbage trying to deny everything, making me do peer to peer calls to get basic standard of care treatments approved.

    15. She just positioning herself to gain leverage, and eventually get stuff she wants.

Democrat Adelita Grijalva won a congressional special election in Arizona … speaker Mike Johnson therefore cannot afford to lose any GOP vote and MTG wants to cash in on that.

    16. For the love of god! It’s TOE the line! Not tow. Hauling the line along with you doesn’t make any damn sense.

    17. Confident-Ad-2726 on

Average Premium rate went “up” because the ACA sets standards that drove cheap insurance scams out of business.

    18. Spirited-Image2904 on

It was all in the billionaire bonus bill that you ALL voted for so spare me the bullshit.

    19. She ALMOST gets it….like watching a Neanderthal figure out how to use a rock as a tool.

    20. Marge is an enigma to me in some ways. Dumber than dirt and incredibly bigoted but weirdly able to open her mind in certain ways. Despite all of her buffoonery she does seem to care about the average American. It’s a pretty sad example of where the Republican Party is right now that she is a voice reason. Wow.

    21. MissRobinRainbow on

Maybe it’s more complex than this, but I thought that I read that when the ACA came out, it required certain basic things must be included in health insurance… so the cheap plans some people had didn’t actually provide much of anything (meaning they didn’t cover much) so they didn’t qualify… and that’s why some people’s cost went up… because they had to get insurance that actually covered you. When I think about the out of pocket annual max and the fact that lifetime caps and pre-existing condition denials were no longer allowed, I think a lot of people saved money in the long run. I know I did/have. Yeah, it’s not perfect, but it was a good start to build on, but that never happened.

I don’t wanna split hairs here, but it’s ‘toeing the line’ not ‘towing’. JS

    23. This is such bullshit. Her income is certainly high enough that she and her family don’t qualify for Obamacare.

    24. Tiredofthemisinfo on

Mark my words she positioning herself to be a replacement when things go south.

It sounds cynical, but she’s looking for her lifeboat

    25. Lmao! Wow. “Did you know my kids insurance premiums are gonna double?! They can’t pay that! Now they’re gonna come ask me! I don’t wanna pay that! Don’t you see this affects ME?!” Typical.

    26. Proofread_CopyEdit on

She put the quotations around the wrong name. Affordable Care Act is the name of the law; “Obamacare” is the nickname Republicans gave it to try to stop their constituents from getting healthcare.

    27. unexpectedhalfrican on

You know shit is bad when MTG is the sane, clear-eyed one in the group. Yes, she’s only for it because it will affect her or people she knows personally, but whatever dude. Whatever gets the job done. But holy moly, these broken clocks sure have been chiming these days.

ETA: “Also, I think health insurance and all insurance is a scam, just to be clear!” YOU ARE SO CLOSE TO GETTING IT MARGE.

    28. But if you aren’t in the USA through proper channels then you can’t get healthcare assistance. I wish they would stop lying and their base would actually learn the truth
