I have a unit of measurement for this. If I get a dollar an hour from a game, minimum- it’s well worth it. Look at Legos. The millennium falcon costs 859.99. Gaming can be very cost efficient.

As a ‘patient gamer’ getting games on sale etc. I think gaming is actually one of my cheapest pastimes (post-buying the system). Like I bought a game for a fiver the other week that could get 50+ hours play. I’m spending almost that to get to work in the morning

Eh, I don’t think it’s a waste, maybe if you’ve got a huge library of games you haven’t played. If you’ve played and enjoyed the games it’s good entertainment
