October 9, 2025‘My First Barbie’. 1981 ad featuring Heather O’Rourke. She made her debut after being discovered by director Steven Spielberg while visiting MGM’s studios. Spielberg promptly casted her in the horror film Poltergeist. Sadly in February 1988 she died at the age of 12 of cardiac arrest & septic shock
