Trump is talking about how easy it is to win wars while being a draft dodger lmao

    2. He never heard of agent orange and napalm, the My Lai massacre, bombing of Laos and Cambodia,or does he have some additional atrocities to add.

I can’t imagine anything less politically correct than napalm, agent orange and massacring women and children.

Not a single historian nor Vietnam veteran commander would agree with that draft dodger. I was lucky, and my birth date did not come out, but I served afterwards. Didn’t meet a vet who said we could win the bloody thing. Almost all said we should have left earlier. But President Bonespurs seems to know better.

How many civilians did die in Iraq Afghanistan or Vietnam?

USA was so politically correct they kept funding repressive and apartheid countries like Saudi Arabia and Israel. They cared about democracy only when they wanted to invade Iraq not when MBS did war crimes in Yemen with American weapons.

      So much pOliTicAl CoRrEcTnEsS lmao

    6. If only he didn’t have bone spurs, he would have single-handedly defeated the Viet Cong. /s

    7. He can sit on a cactus and twist this insufferable moldy cantaloupe. I’m so tired of seeing his face.

Does that sound mean conservatives? Go suck a chode.

    8. He doesn’t actually know anything, does he? He also seems to use alternative unrealised possibilities a lot.

    9. If you look up “war crimes” in the dictionairy, it just shows a picture of Vietnam…

    10. I cannot understand anyone hearing that absolute drivel and then deciding to start applauding it

I’ve always found it interesting that so many veterans take pride and honor in serving in the US military during the Vietnam War. In hindsight, how does one not see that the US were the bad guys? It’s like if a vet from WW2 talk about his glory days serving in the Japanese army.

He’s trying to get everyone who doesn’t like him to quit so he can fill the spaces with his people.

    13. Me: “Warcrimes and nukes are sure a great way to win a war quick, sure, but absolutely fucking horrifying. So basic Trump.”

Me at the same time: “Wait, you are implying that the US lost Vietnam?”

Would have won? That war went for ever and America was sending teenagers!? Keep lying Trump keep lying, the worlds taking note so God, no sure heaven is for you!?!

As a fellow Vietnamese, that’s rich coming from a draft dodger cuz he ain’t gonna understand one wit about what we have gone through

    16. Project 100,000 was literally Dump’s wet dream of sending the disabled to be slaughtered. Napalm still has debilitating effects on the environment and people of Vietnam to this day. The 1960’s were also known as a time of rampant violent white supremacist and racist movement, running directly counter to the emerging civil rights movement that fought to give millions of people the right to be treated with basic dignity. At this time, women could still not open private bank accounts, hold land or property, and the culture of misogyny was especially prevalent at this time. What about this time exactly was politically correct other than the morally correct action of giving minorities some basic manner of barely enforced protections and liberties. This is literally the time that MAGA wants to return America to, where women, as well as all minorities, were seen as subhuman, and the solution to any disability, even heightened emotions, was to shove an ice pick into a person’s brain until they could no longer function as an independent being. Seems we’re already headed there in regards to health anyway, Brainworm Jr should know plenty about subverting women’s rights and autonomy to destroy their brain, he was all to happy to watch it happen, and he’s right up there whosoering in the rotten tangerine’s ear. Why do we even pay attention to this idiot anymore? He’s even more incoherent than he was during his inaugural address, not even ten months ago, and has no bloody clue when anything happened or what the social fabric of the time was like. The 1960’s were a brutal, barbarous time for everyone who wasn’t a straight white guy… we’ll, there’s our answer. Thats why he wants to go back, despite clearly having no idea what was even happening at that time.

I want to mention agent orange, as in, the horrific chemical used by the US during the war, but people would just mistake me as talking about Trump.

    18. Gervais_Burlap on

As usual Trump is talking absolute nonsense, there was large scale murder of civilians that lasted for years in Vietnam, all tacitly approved by the government and actively encouraged by Generals. The My Lai massacre wasn’t an aberration, similar incidents occurred routinely. Kill Anything That Moves, The Real American War in Vietnam by Nick Turse is an eye-opening read for anyone who is interested.

I was in Vietnam this year and when you go south you see more and more children with disabilities and birth defects. There is also a museum showcasing the effects of agent orange and napalm bombings. I know there are 2 sides to every story, but calling that as “politically correct” just shows you have no idea what that war even looked like.
