I think what people need to remember is that this judge did what was right knowing they would receive death threats. Knowing they’d be made a focus point for the MAGA verse. She knew that Trump would rile up his notoriously hateful (and sometimes violent) base and direct it her way.
She’s seen it play out over the last decade whenever Trump clashes with any threats to his agenda.
But she did it anyway. I think for a lot of us its easy to post on reddit about how someone needs to do something. I think we need to look at being more proactive. A lot of us are pissed at the current democrat establishment. If more of us like-minded people ran, we wouldn’t be in this position. If more people with this mindset got into law enforcement, or got into the court systems, we wouldn’t be here.
If I have to give credit to the right, its that they planned this out decades ago. They have the deep pockets from the billionaires who they truly serve to fund stacking federal judge positions over decades. They organizied to take over school boards. Local government, state government, etc.
The “left” has been asleep, hoping others will fix the problem. The apathetic average American just assumes the wheel will keep spinning and they don’t need to pay attention to politics.
I feel like waiting for 2026 to vote as my only act of “defiance” to this admin just isn’t enough. I think the best time to organize was yesterday, second best time is today.
Any worthwhile groups out there to volunteer for?

I’m just wondering where the line between just their day-to-day dehumanization and threats and stochastic terrorism is. I know they stop short of just saying go harm them, but there has to be something criminal about their constant amping up of hate and threatening everything from withholding Aid from anyone who doesn’t tow the line, jail time, a lawsuit, denaturalization, and rationalizing or ignoring the violence their supporters are now seemingly pretty comfortable with. Hopefully, a lawyer reads this and can help me understand why we haven’t reached that point yet.
