I thought at one stage he was gonna have two left hands.

When they ask if he’s right handed or left handed what would his response be? “It’s complicated.” ?

I prefer mine without Wiz.

It’s beautiful how far humans go and repurpose in order to achieve what’s needed, it really is and always has been the human brain serving its purpose.

So ummm… it doesn’t move?
They essentially gave this guy a realistic doll arm for a prosthetic, I thought the point of a prosthetic is that you can use it as a replacement for the appendage that you’re missing?

This didn’t give him any new abilities. It’s just a hand-shaped plastic balloon.

Still looks as fake as chubb’s cause it don’t move

i liked the little fart the fake arm made when it got penetrated by the arm stump.

A great many of those steps seem unnecessary given our end result

I wonder what that orange stuff is, anyone know?

I don’t understand why they would cast his left hand just so they could scan it and mirror it… just scan the man’s hand directly?

Whether moving or not, I don’t think I’d want my prostetic to try and imitate reality that much, with skin and all. Rather, I’d lean into it and own it. Like, make it look cyborg, and start pimping that bad boy. I recall someone with an amputated lower leg describing their obvious metal replacement as a form of piercing.
To each their own, though!

……. where’s the “ability” part? This is a purely cosmetic prosthetic, it has no utility.

Could you put it over the mechanical prosthetic?

Cool process and I’m sure the guy appreciates it. It doesn’t function but the fact of having a visible real looking hand must help his self confidence a lot. That said, can it get tattoos? He could have sick new tats all the time on that hand.

the black one seems cooler and more useful

i feel like it would be more useful if they used the realistic airbag to cover up the mechanical one
falsevector on
Would be cool if they make several and put in different tattoos for each. He can match it with outfit or mood for the day

What’s weird is the fake one looked more real than the real one when they were side by side at th end…

I prefer the one he’s wearing before, having a robot arm looks way bad ass
