Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned reasons, the centuries-old Chinese wooden mosques have been almost completely destroyed, with only a few remaining in areas like Beijing and Quanzhou. These mosques once contained numerous wooden decorations depicting the sacred fire. Many of these were originally Zoroastrian fire shrines brought by Persian immigrants, and later gradually became mosques. To this day, many descendants of Persian immigrants in China still refer to Allah using the Chinese name for Ahura Mazda, Huda (胡大). Much of this precious historical information has been lost forever with the destruction of these buildings.
