The part of “The Cup Test” when Johnny has all those kids kick him lives rent-free in my head.
Or getting punched out by Butterbean. And Tony Hawk in a fat suit!

Any time Tony Hawk or Mat Hoffman turned up, and everyone else is just trying to survive while they treat everything like a serious athletic challenge…

I remember Penn Jillette (Penn of Penn & Teller) talking about how little they were paid for that show. That people would talk about seeing them working in places (stores, cafes, etc) and be like “what are you doing here???” And they’d be like “working.”
I think they were making 30k or so a year from MTV? Crazy to think about

I’ll never forget the first time seeing this in 5th grade. Had zero context and just thinking back to the shopping carts and wee man skating as an Oompa Loompa fucking blew me away.

I remember it being on and thinking, wow that’s so dumb and dangerous I can’t believe people watch that show.
Then I somehow got sucked into seeing the first movie in the theater and I had never laughed so hard. I should go back and watch the entire show.

This brings me back to summers at my grandmother’s in Louisiana. Me, my siblings, and my cousins would stay up late and watch Jackass on MTV. Back when life was innocent.

As God as my witness, **Jackass Forever** is one of the funniest movies the past decade.
I watch it every year. It kills me.

Seriously, one of the most underrated shows of all time in terms of generational impact
