The best here – the story:
MC good guy, takes big guns and kicks ass of all bad guys.
No second meaning, no traumas, no psychology bullshit. A proper action movie as it should be.
Compare to modern movies – every second MC is traumatized snowflake with broken life.

Oh shit! This was my favorite movie when I was a kid. Yep, a kid. My family’s knew after school I had to watch Commando. Probably saw 8-10 times a week. I called her the “annoying little girl.” I never knew it was Alyssa.

I still have a crush on Alyssa Millano because of this and Who’s the Boss.
My favorite scene in this movie is the five minutes he spends strapping weapons and gear on himself before the final assault.
Watched this again the other week. Haven’t seen it for years, and it did not fail.
