    1. Watching Crocodile Dundee as a kid in the cinema exposed me to the first Thong I even saw in my life.

I was only 10, and I thought to myself that this bathingsuit just can be comfortable. warched it 3 years later on VHS, and it became my favorite scene in the movie

Who would wear that in the outback though lol. I love the outfit, but you’d likely only see this in the movies. The outfit is clearly designed to be eye catching. It’s just a good reason for some people to watch the show. Still, she’s a very gorgeous lady in a very revealing outfit.

*“That croc was going to eat me alive.”*

*“Well, I wouldn’t hold that against him…same thought crossed my mind once or twice.”*

In USSR the movie was released in 1988 and this was so strange that soviet censorship didn’t cut the thong scene. I was just 13 and really shocked by that kind of swimsuit. My mates and me went to cinema three or four times to watch this scene 🙂

Parents rented this on VHS and this was burned into my brain. A year or two later this was aired on TV and this was edited out.i have no words to describe my incredible disappointment.

    6. Probably was too young when I watched it cause I thought nothing of that scene, just that Mike bumps his head trying to peep and that was funny 😂

My grandfather bought and owned that land and safari, was the original “Crocodile Dundee,” after he returned from WWII (he was shot in the leg, not bitten by a croc). At one point, his claim was said to be over a thousand square miles.

My brothers and I grew up hearing some wild stories of how my Mum and her brother went from living on Bondi Beach in Sydney to guiding tourists hunting for white buffalo and crocodile. Then, when the movie came out, we were so impressed, but she was rather disappointed. Too much Hollywood in the story. The whole bit about coming to America never happened (my grandfather never came to America). He did carry a big knife, though; he used it to cut open my Mum’s leg after she was bitten by a brown snake in the bush, wringing her like a towel, and she carried the scar on her outer thigh the rest of her life.

Gave the land, including the mineral rights, back to the people upon his death, which we were all happy with.
