Imagine you drive home and you have your uncle over for dinner and he is ranting about a conspiracy against him and that deep state elements stopped the escalator right as he went on it. You’d probably be worried for his mental health but you would also skip the desert look at the clock and say “Oh man, late huh?”
I mean you cant always apply this to world leaders, since having bro obama over and he walks down on the porch and says he just had a dude whacked in pakistan would probably also be awkward dinner conversation.

Escalator says. “Don’t tread on me!”

Well, to be fair, escalator or not, people *do* hate him. Wind changes direction, somebody hates him. Sun comes up, somebody hates him. It’s not *untrue*, it’s just misleading, and *misleading* is a word I’d use to describe him.

To be fair, it is an accurate assumption. Nothing to do with the escalator however.
