    1. Notice how they didn’t provide any details on which attacks they included or how they categorized the attacker.

    2. Trump has said how he loves the poorly educated and that smart people don’t like him. Little wonder he was only able to fill his administration with Nepo babies and unqualified morons

    3. Calling fascists fascists hurts the fascists’ feelings and the fascists have no choice but to do a mass shooting. Don’t you see it’s not the fascists’ fault?

    4. To be fair, it’s quite possible that she was under the influence of a substance when she tweeted that.

    5. If you threaten someone and then try to lay hands on them dont be surprised when they absolutely destroy you.

    6. Good news Maga…if some of the data is made up, its all made up. And that 2025 data is definitely made up.

Problem is, any political violence chart will still be heavy on the right. Because we already know that.

    7. highest in 30 years and the left-wing only have 5-6 terrorism attacks, compared to the 15 right-wing had just last year.

    8. They probably thought the orange is continuing to the x-axis, rather than being stacked so you can also see the total.

    9. Let not forget groups like the Proud Boys and Patriot Front have been contracted to work for ICE in 2025, how do you they got their initial swell of agents, while at the same time these groups seemly disappeared into the background.

    10. Maybe they’ll stop denying the right is responsible for most violence. Their own chart shows the same result as the DOJ report they deny. Never mind, of course they won’t.

    11. Also conveniently leaving out that they, the fascists, deliberately stopped tracking right-wing terrorism as soon as they got into power. So yeah, it’s skewed when they just stopped counting the 2025 right-wing terror plots, in addition to declaring various random instances as ‘left-wing’ when they weren’t. They are the most dishonest cretins imaginable.

    12. The only time I hear of some major violent crime it’s from a right wing nut bag. Where are these so called left wing assailants? Or we just gonna call all minority crime left wing cuz they’re brown?

    13. You see you’re just looking at it wrong. The yellow is how much more Democrats do see, the color for them is just kind of hidden behind the Republicans until they surpass them, then you can see how much worse they actually are. See.

I’m sorry I’m really good at this sarcasm shit to the point where I look at what I read and go. Oh my God I ought to put it /s in there or somebody might think it’s actually what I think.

    14. Consequences of democrats calling out Nazis is terrorism attacks. Or at least I’m *sure* that’s what Abigail is trying to say.

    15. What about the 29 years of massive right-wing violence with it increasing in 2015?!

      Can they not read charts?

    16. Considering they are calling every attack liberal violence now, I question the validity of the yellow bar for this year.

Maybe it would make more sense to them if it was inverted and the lesser contributors were on the bottom… But then you couldn’t confuse the MAGAts as easily.

    18. Are we talking actual left wing stuff in 2025 or the stuff they are labeling as left wing but was perpetrated by clearly right wing people falsely labeled as left wing by the right wing media and maga conspiracy theorists

if you don’t want to be called fascists, stop being fascist.

don’t deport a shit ton of people who are necessary for the economy, don’t be disciminatory towards minorities generally and trans people specifically, don’t call for your political enemies to be rounded up, don’t saber-rattle for shits and giggles whilst leaving other democracies like Ukraine to the wolves, don’t cultivate a cult of personality, don’t associate with actual neo-nazis like Charlie Kirk, don’t impugn a democratic election process and attempt to stop the legal transfer of power, don’t appoint judges who will restrict the rights of pregnant people to access healthcare, don’t use vaguely-fascist rhetoric.

      conservatism is fine, fascism isn’t.

It’s so great that I have such a modern example to point to when explaining the paradox of tolerance to my kids.

What’s also pretty unnerving is how I’ve heard conservatives rationalize this trend of right wing extremism as a conspiracy, arguing that the data reported on far right political violence is manipulated. Which is a pretty typical go to for them.

You see, they drum up all this distrust in government, science and experts so that they can deny whatever evidence is presented to them that contradicts or challenges their worldview.

And that’s only part of it because while they’re insisting that all contrary data is fabricated or altered with, they’re also maintaining that they’re victims of a broader, more nefarious plot to undermine them and unfairly tarnish their image. In many cases, this also means that all negative news coverage or disapproval and criticism of Donald Trump is just “fake news” meant to sabotage him and his reputation.

In other words, they believe that they are beyond reproach and that Trump is incapable of wrongdoing, and any facts or evidence that says otherwise is merely deception on the part of their enemies. On top of that, because they believe there is a concerted effort to unjustly target and vilify them, they also imagine themselves as victims of this never-ending scheme to oppress them with facts.

Meanwhile, they point to things like a single online poll taken directly after Charlie Kirk’s assassination to prove that it’s actually left-leaning Americans who are more violent, not recognizing the severe limitations of such a poll.

So when the “data” supports *their* narrative, they’re all of a sudden trusting of government agencies and statistics. Even when that data was likely to have *actually* been manipulated by bad faith respondents.

Those stats for 2025 are absolutely false. Every recent politically motivated attack recently has been perpetrated by right wing individuals, yet a quick search shows media outlets pushing a narrative that left-wing violence has surpassed right-wing violence. It could not be more clear to me that the media is trying to give cover to the Trump administration for suppressing his political opponents.

    23. This is a really poor method of showing data it clamor feels intentional. Anyone with half a brain could understand what it means but your average person only has 2 half’s of a brain which leaves 50% under that

    24. So I just read the [introduction of the study](https://www.csis.org/analysis/left-wing-terrorism-and-political-violence-united-states-what-data-tells-us) that produced these results and it sounds factually correct.

It seems like axious who made the chart have focused purely on the first part of the first sentence of the introduction.

The rest of the sentence which they ignored says **although such violence has risen from very low levels and remains much lower than historical levels of violence carried out by right-wing and jihadist attackers.**
