      I honestly at this point feel like he’s just a plant by the Republicans to make it look like there’s democrat leadership.

      Its time for him and Jefferies to find a nice deep hole with Hillary, Biden, and Harris and rot. We need progressives its time to get rid of any Democrats that dont step in line. Meaning any Democrat that has taken foreign or Corporate money should be voted out and this point should be used in primaries against them.

      I mean y’all put him in this position.

      We had some of the more productive legislative sessions under Biden’s term despite the obstinance of the GOP and Schumer was in charge of that.

      But the Democratic Senate is a minority and has basically no power to do anything, particularly since the house controls the power of the purse.

      Pelosi and Shumer set the party back decades IMO. They were on the fringe of really putting the country forward (Obama care original goal was universal healthcare and it almost happened) and beyond that they had all the momentum in the world and just shit the bed and then set the house on fire.

      He has a valid position. Good cop bad cop. He is the good coo, appealing to the better parts of Republican natures. He is FAR from Collins, who does NOTHING but wring her hands. Schumer is a class act, and does have gravitas for those Senators who are not of the Representative branch rabble

      I get the frustration, but what is supposed to say or do (sincerely asking)? The Republicans have the majority. It seems like he’s just making sure everyone knows this is on them.

      If Shumer would have watched how AG Garland took the cautious approach to investigating and prosecuting Trump during the 4 years of the Biden Administration, he might have learned something. Obviously, it gave the time Trump needed to run out the clock, and avoid being held responsible for his crimes and treason.

      I am done with Shumer, Jeffries, and the entire approach the Democrats are taking in opposing Trump. The day Trump was elected was not soon enough to establish a plan to counter everything Trump said he was going to do.

      The Democrats need new and younger leadership up and down the Party. You don’t encourage or appease a bully. You tell them to Fuck Off and bring it on. You fight them head-on. The current Democrat Leadership is not working to thwart Trump and the chaos he creates. They have to go.

      Blue states need to put our legislation targeting rightwing extremism, subverting the administration’s attempt to target “leftwing” groups, such as antifa, with no central leadership or funding, as they’re targeting individuals with very specific beliefs instead of dangerous groups with ideological beliefs and central leadership.

      The Democratic party needs a drastic shift in leadership and messaging, and the whole coalition has to get behind it.
