I believe there is a maximum as well as minimum size for lobsters so super large ones are tossed back now

I ate a lobster claw like this for my birthday once (my gift was to pick what lobster I wanted, I didn’t understand they charged by pound). It was like a turkey leg of lobster and it was glorious. Worth the $250, we ate lobster for 3 days
