    1. When I was (very young), our family got in that line to see Star Wars. Went around the whole block.

Sadly, when we got to the front, we realized we didn’t have enough money for the whole family, so my dad (bless him) went out and sat in the car until the movie was over and took us home.

I was a 12 year old boy and saw it that summer. People didn’t ask if you’ve seen it, they would ask how many times. We were ravenous for this movie.

    3. Went into labor in the back seat of a Buick with My Brother and Sister in law at a drive in movie theater. I didn’t dare tell my husband that I was in labor, he had waited for that movie for a long time. Baby was born the next day. Funny thing is that she is named Leah and people said “Here we go, another princess Leia” “Nope, from Genesis in the Bible and after my great Aunt.”

    4. My mom, from what I can remember, told me that it was in theaters 1-10. For a year. She said there was nothing ever like it.

    5. I would love to have experienced Star Wars when it first released, Wizard of Oz as well. Films that did things that you had not seen before, color, dolby stereo, the rest.
