    1. Cynical me thinks they found these whales and then started blowing the shell once the whales were playing around…

    2. The whales are literally there just doing whale stuff. They really don’t care about the conch. It’s a guy essentially filming an opportunistic scenario.

This looks to be right off Maui. The whales love music and singing. I have a friend who is an opera singer who started singing (with a few other friends) while kayaking and a pod of whales surfaced to listen to them.

    4. Staged. Paid actors. Part of the Screen Whale Actors Guild (S.W.A.G). I know a guy who knows a guy that’s a member.

Why the fuck do we need to add music to every short video?

Just the sounds of nature would have been perfect for this, and you ruined it.

    6. Amazing!! Two weekends ago (Sept 13) my BF and I went whale watching in Santa Barbara, CA. A grey whale did two FBBs (full body breaches) right in front of us! And before we got back to shore, he asked me to marry him 🐋💍😊

    7. Blows horn -> *Music instantly fucking covers up the entire reason the video exists.*

Who do I see about getting my 5 seconds back?

    8. Video about nature

The video having a peaceful vibe

Op: it would be a waste to not add music in this

    9. Not a response and not a surprise when you take a boat to where whales are during whale season. It’s literally an industry here.

    10. Probably just coincidence. They have the largest congregation of humpback whales during the spring off of Maui and they’re just everywhere. I saw more whales breaching during my week long trip than I’d seen in total up to that point.
