It’s a wooden tiki statue, probably bought in Hawaii, probably made in east Asia. But either you’re quite old yourself or that thing belong to your grandparents not parents. I’d bet on it being 40+ years old.
It could also be a souvenir from Disneyland.

Whatever you do, don’t go surfing with it.

Tourist piece, probably from Hawaii in the 70s. Any Tiki head would take off your hands.

My parents own one and is as old as I am probably. Fairly common decor from the late 60s to early 70s. It’s a tiki statue and I still remember playing with it as a young boy running my small hands all over it.
