This outfit was designed by Michael Bush, an American Costume Designer who closely worked with Michael Jackson for many decades.
Michael Bush was asked by the Jackson Family to dress Michael Jackson, one final time. Bush created this outfit, based on the 1993 white military jacket that Jackson wore to the Grammys, because Michael Jackson mentioned to him that he liked his 1993 Grammys outfit the most. But Michael Bush was unable to located the original jacket so he created a copy with some minor changes.
This photo was taken before the burial and publicly revealed for the first time in Michael Bush’s book: “The King of Style: Dressing Michael Jackson”

Please don’t forget Dennis Tompkins, Michael bush’s partner who designed and made many things for Michael Jackson. He died shortly after Michael Jackson but made this outfit too. I knew them well.

I worked in a cruise ship. That morning while opening the piano bar, my colleagues and I found two news: first one, the piano had rolled down from the stage due to the rough sea. Second one, Michael Jackson had gone.

So thinking of this, isn’t it kinda weird that in a few thousand years archaeologists can’t find graves with many artefacts from our time? Most people nowadays are cremated or buried and will rot in the ground. From most past historic periods we can dig up people and their stuff but not from our time?
I’m aware that it was a minuscule elite that was buried with lots of stuff in the past like chieftains, kings and pharaohs. But we don’t do that with our contemporary leaders do we.

The designer took these pictures of the outfit before he was buried in it. That was obvious to anyone who isn’t a fucking idiot or shit comedian.
