I actually disagree on the principle that he was never going to start in a good situation. So why not learn from Lamar, the only caveat I might have is. Lamar is so freakishly talented that I am not sure how much he could teach him.

He wanna be David Ruffin, not Otis Williams.

I want to see this kid reach his full potential but it looks like he’s going to get the Kordell Stewart treatment

I mean I would rather be a back up in a good organization than a 3rd stringer on the browns.

Shedeur has already responded to this and said it was “news to him” this might be a bullshit story.

How is this even a discussion? He’d get to learn from Lamar and be in a stable organization. He keeps his head down and maybe a team would’ve taken a flier on him and trade for him next season.

“Play” behind Lamar, that saying doesnt make sense to me

Collect a tidy salary while learning directly from a potential HOF quarterback or get thrown to the wolves, I know what I’d pick

The difference between someone who wants to be a star in the league vs someone who wants to be a star at the bank. Being the backup qb to a superstar means 8 years of decent money with minimal bodily harm. Sign me up for that contract and I’m bringing donuts in the facility everyday. Chase Daniels is the role model

So instead he chose to be a third stringer for the Browns. Shedeur and his dad manifested a historic draft fumble.

This is why I always side eyed people saying he got blackballed lol. Shedeur and Deion overvalued his worth and are now paying for it

I dunno. Lamar always gets hurt in December so it would probably be good to sit behind him and learn for most of the season and then come in to be the hero in January.

You are literally an ankle sprain away from playing if LJ gets hurt…but the better question is how would he have done in that offense? He has speed but you need to be fast in the Ravens offense because they do so much misdirection
