Ran in a former friend turned MAGA I had been trying to avoid last night. I was meeting some other folks later, so I really couldn’t leave. Shockingly, he was drinking alone.
He got into politics immediately as expected. It was scary and enlightening. After rolling through the job losses, inflation, the daily embarrassments, I brought up the headline that 2025 would see the US population decline for the first time ever and how devastating that can be for an economy.
He went full mask off… he doesn’t care. They will burn everything to the fucking ground, including their own livelihood, to preserve a white majority in this country.
I tried a Patriotic angle. How immigration is like a ‘cheat code’ for America… taking the best and brightest from all over the world.
Didn’t matter. Them too. All of them.
Its starting to become clear to me that the very concept of a diverse America had them all near sewer-sidal… they are willing to make this a third-rate third-world failed state as long as it’s a white one.

Most of his voters were already poor in the first place, they just bought into the idea that non whites were the reason for that. Now they’re seeing the results of that vote and finding out it’s making them even MORE poor and they’re going to lose what little they had. But they’ll still blame it on liberals, black people, and immigrants.
