This is the point I’d wager. They never forgave us for getting stimulus checks and now that they’ve extracted that money back from us plus interest with artificial inflation? Now their grand revenge for the job market post covid where they had to do stuff like allow remote work and fight for applicants by offering slightly higher than slave wages. This is what we get for having the audacity.
