Remember when the official Lego product site referred to one of the Lixels as a “back of the bus window-licker” but later changed it because ‘windowlicker’ is offensive British slang for a mentally handicapped person, similar to ret*rd.
At the time when I was going on the Lego site all the time, I thought that the description was kinda mean spirited anyway, but I got confused when they changed the word ‘windowlicker’ instead of the phase “back of the bus” to describe his friendlessness.
In that same line, one of the Klinkers was described as a “heavy metal bad-boy” which got changed to a “heavy metal fanboy”, I imagine to avoid the regrettable sexual implications of referring to a buildable plastic robot singer as a ‘bad boy’. I thought that was funny.
