FB think I might like Journey, Styx, Kansas, Toto & Boston as they know I like The Fall Joy Division & Throbbing Gristle.
Sometimes FB tries to interest me in Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift & Chapelle Roan.
Everyone I know, including ppl who work in advertising, all have similar experiences.
Why does any firm pay for targeted advertising on socials?
Either way YT is absolutely determined to show me right wing propaganda (some of it openly calling for the summary imprisonment of opposition politicians, journalists & non-white non-Christian ppl) & won’t stop no matter what I do.

Why show me items based on obviously one off purchases that are more or less identical to the purchase I’ve just made? There are so many things that most people will never need more than one of at a time and they never filter that out.
