Unfortunately that hasn’t been true for a while now. I’m mid-40’s, my grandfather’s fought in Korea.

I did work in health care in my late teens and early 20’s, mostly senior care, and we had patients with tattoos on their arms. We never, ever, said it was time for a shower. It was “bath time.”

Angela Merkel remarked on this several years ago. As the last of those alive during that time pass on, we will know whether we took their sacrifices to heart, if we truly will “never forget.”

It breaks my heart that we now have that answer.

    2. This is disgusting. And the fact that she’s doing it while smiling? Fucking abominable

Her grandfather was killing someone like her. Probably should have come back and re invaded the south and cleaned out the rest of the Nazi scum that was running that part of our country. Imagine where we would be now if Truman had said ok now we destroyed nazism in Europe let’s destroy it in the south and just put troops there and eradicated segregation. He would have found enough soldiers that would be willing to do it. B

My grandfather fought in Normandy on D day (lost a thumb, gained alcoholism and PTSD). I will never understand this from people who also claim to be patriotic.

The emojis in her name say “Jews Extinguish Life” .

This isn’t the first time she’s done this salute or sought validation for it.

    6. Well I hope she enjoys unemployment.

But the other not-sees will probably run a go fund me for her.

Genuinely wanna do things I can’t say online to these Nazi scum. How we’re here in 2025 is beyond me. VILE HUMANS.

A big problem we’re running into is that it’s likely not her grandfather who was in WW2, it was likely her great grandfather. We’re losing the personal connection people had with WW2

What’s sad is that you can tell by her kitchen and the background of the photo that she lives in a run down home. She’s likely very poor (that’s not the issue here) and is trying to get internet points for “being the superior race.” She should maybe try to be a better human and make something of herself and get out of poverty..
