Even if they did it in the 2nd century, I’m still pissed at these vandals lol.
I wonder if this kind of thing is where the term “defaced” actually comes from.
It’s like when they destroyed the Buddhas of Bamyan.
Small-minded vandals. They lost. We still remember our goddesses.
The iconoclasm of Christians during this time period really, really makes me angry – think of all we lost to their insecurity and small-mindedness. Who worships a tiny, tiny god that is jealous and vengeful, that can tolerate no other gods in the world?
