[Museum](https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/E_Am1909-1218-35). Vessel with a human head modelled in the neck of the vessel. The fact that the face shows wrinkles, a left eye shut and the mouth leaned to one side suggest that the person represented suffers from an illness or some kind a malformation. The body of the vessel is decorated with pointed triangles facing down in red on cream background and “S” motifs is cream on a red background.

    2. I’m saying this as an archaeologist. It looks more like a grimace or the face I make when closing one eye to shoot than a malformation or illness.

    3. Since we are guessing, here’s mine:

“Vase depicting a man stuck in a vase.”

Was that vase found on a boat with spinach residue inside? ⚓️ I yam what I yam

Moche pottery is always so much fun to look at, I’m always really excited when I’m at a museum that has some (even if it’s carefully curated to be SFW). The expressiveness on this one is something I haven’t seen before.

As someone who JUST got over Bell’s Palsy… My face def looked like that when I tried to smile.

    8. I’m a time traveler, and this is actually my buddy Illapaq who would always grimace like that when about to launch the most explosive fart you’ve ever heard.

Illapaq, by the way, means “Of the thunder.”
