Malinalco archeological site, in Mexico, is a sanctuary complex built in a hill by the Aztecs from the mid 15th to the beginnings of the 16th century CE. The site contains 6 buildings, but the main one is the Cuauhcalli, which is significant in that it is carved out of the hill itself [658×1315]
