    1. “The Capstone of an Ancient Egyptian Pyramid Found in 1900 was Made Out of Black Basalt and Weighed 4.5 Tonnes
The Amenemhat III pyramidion was the capstone that initially adorned the Black Pyramid in Dahshur, Egypt. It was built approximately 1850 BC, near the conclusion of the 12th Dynasty during the Middle Kingdom, and it is one of just a few pyramids that have survived.”

I’ll give anyone three guesses to where it’s located. First two don’t count and Egypt isn’t an answer.

    3. I posted a translation of this pyramidion’s text [five years ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/history/comments/7olqg8/what_do_the_hieroglyphics_on_the_the_pyramid/). Here it is:

      * 1st line left section, read beginning with the writing below the left eye to below the left wing (middle to left):

      >*Son of Ra,* ***Amenemhat*** *(in cartouche), given life forever.*

      * 1st line right section, beginning with writing below right eye to below the right wing:

      >*King of Upper and Lower Egypt,* ***Nimaatre*** *(in cartouche), given life forever.*

      * 2nd line, read from right to left:

      >*”May the face of the king of Upper and Lower Egypt,* ***Nimaatre,*** *be opened so that he may see the Lord of the Horizon (Horakhty, Horus of the Horizon) when he crosses the sky; may the Lord of the Horizon cause the Son of Ra,* ***Amenemhat,*** *to shine as a god, lord of eternity and indestructible.”*

      * 3rd line, also read from right to left:

      >*”The Lord of the Horizon has said: ‘I have given the beautiful horizon to He of the Two Ladies (Nebty),* ***Itjijautawy*** *(He who inherited the Two Lands), so that you may unite with the horizon’; the horizon has said that you rest upon it, which pleases me.”*

      *****

^(Note: *Nimaatre* is Amenemhat III’s throne name, while *Itjijautawy* is his ‘Nebty’ name [Nebty = Two Ladies, direct translation ‘*Nekhbet* and *Wadjet*’, euphemism of Egypt – *Nekhbet* is the patron vulture goddess of Upper Egypt while *Wadjet* is the patron cobra goddess of Lower Egypt]. *Amenemhat* is his personal name. Also, the direct translation of the title translated here as “King of Upper and Lower Egypt” is “He of Sedge and Bee”, with the sedge being a euphemism for Upper Egypt and the bee for Lower Egypt.)
