That’s very cool. I had no idea bimetallic coinage had been made in ancient times, at least not as official currency. Counterfeiting by making fake coins stamped from silver or gold foil covered lead or brass was common in some parts of the world and in some time periods,but I don’t count that as actual bimetallic coinage.
