Cough syrups and tablets that contain codeine are still sold around the world, including in over-the-counter forms. So… the opioids have just gotten milder.

Reminds me of the American diet pills I heard of. These were from the 1960s, and they contained diuretics (to lose weight rapidly), amphetamine (to suppress hunger), and benzodiazepines (to suppress anxiety from amphetamines).
One night? Hell no. This is for every night.
Taking into account that they used cocaine as medicine, that’s fine.
Ahhh and we banned all this. Now we get fentanyl and bathtub meth.

I’m pretty sure they still make this in Baltimore, you just need to know the right people, or, possibly, the wrong people. It depends on your perspective on these matters.
