A metalworkers’ assemblage from a grave at Bygland, Norway, 10th century CE. It contained a wide range of tools, from heavy sledgehammers, small chisels, and punches, to a long-handled iron pan for melting lead and tin resting on a soapstone mould for casting ingots [1525×1046]
