I used to sit and cry listening to my dad talk shit about me. I make sure i build my daughter up as much as possible. breaking that trauma.

I remembered how good it was to hear my dad talk about how he was amazed at how good I was with computers, how “I didn’t get that from him”, and how proud he was. So I make sure to tell my daughter that I am proud of her for the things she does. Her smile is well worth it.
