The front face of the tower bears the words: PICTOS VICTOS HOSTIS DELETA LVDITE SECVRI
When read as a sentence reads “The Picts are defeated, the enemies destroyed, play with confidence”. Around the top of the three remaining faces is the phrase, UTERE FELIX VIVAS which translates to “Have a happy life”
TIL dice towers are not a TTRPG invention. I feel like I should have been able to guess that.
That’s pretty neat, tho.
I have nothing of substance to add so I will look at this post and make a silly joke about the uncanny resemblance of the artefact…
