Newton invented calculus when he was 23, if you are older than 23, but not as smart as him, you are stupid.

Making people feel like shit because they’re not keeping pace with a child prodigy is counterproductive at best. Gimme some examples of people who finally succeeded in their old age. Alan Rickman breaking into acting in his 40s. Grandma Moses running marathons in her 60s. Colonel Sanders starting KFC as an old man (though preferably without stealing recipes from Black folks.)
I’m 40. Seeing prodigies is cool. Being compared to them is not.

Seriously, fuck anyone who made this meme and anyone who reposts it. Absolutely toxic garbage— stop making children feel bad about not winning trophies for their shitty parents.

Talent and hard work isn’t always enough.
I met a very talented singer who went to Nashville, but didn’t have “the look” to break through and be successful. Her phenomenal voice didn’t land her a contract. So she has a day job to pay the bills and pursues music as a hobby on the weekends.
