This is pretty horrible way to present but in a way, looks like a contemporary art. I kind of dig it. Except for the fonts getting smaller as we go down. Does the thickness of the line actually doing anything? Why not keep it a simple line so you won’t have to mess with the fonts?

It is horrifying how Ukraine had to stretch their economy to defend themselves.

I believe the 5+m population excludes the baltics: Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia.
I was looking for these as their patterns would be interesting (as it is for others in relation to Russian invasion)
Presumably similar pattern to Poland (with perhaps even higher early period spend…
