Bathroom designer understood urinal spacing, didn’t place lowered one at end

    1. As someone who primarily uses the lower urinal this would cause more awkward encounters for me if they were all empty when I walk in

    2. Why not just make the wall like 3x as deep? Create a good barrier between everyone and it won’t matter 🤷‍♀️

    3. Why don’t they just make those urinals that go straight to the floor standard? All sizes can use them

    4. As 99% of men will not use the central urinal, this is actually genius. If you are in with your kid, they can use it.

Or you could conserve water and use the same urinal at the same time.

    6. I’m 5’6 and I prefer the lower one. Why should there even be a higher one? Are tall people incapable of peeing down?

This is the proper way to install urinals when there are only 3. If a man has his small son with him and they both need to pee, then the two can still stand side by side of there was another person using the other urinal. Smart

Why not just make them all low urinals? I’m 6′ 1″ and never had an issue using a low one when needed – can’t imagine there’s that many 7′ 6″ dudes out there who are just unable to use the low ones.

Or, at the very least, flip the ratio – 5 small ones to 1 tall one.

    9. Wow, so many incorrect responses here.

The lower urinal height is due to ADA requirements, nothing more. And placement is whatever works for the waste line(s) behind the wall if not spec’ed by the architect.

I don’t understand the point of this post? There are 3 urinals, one lower than the others for kids and midgets. Need some context as to why this post is here?

If you’re on either end and a dude sidles up to the middle one, he wants you to look.

Is so the guy in the middle can crouch down a little and the guy on his left and right can rest their head on his shoulder. Or it’s the squatty potty version of a shitting urinal. It’s better for flow to squat a little when pooping.

    13. I absolutely hate putting those flush valves in, especially the urinals. Soldering that 90 down in that access panel. Yuck

Honestly, when I heard urinal spacing I thought there’d be a gap between two so that we could all have our privacy. Sure this is creative.

More room is what we all need.
