Man, seeing Wolverine in the flesh at 10 years old was core movie magic for me. Yes, I was under 13, but my mom knew that there were few things I loved more at that time than X-Men. Hell, she would even print b&w articles at work from this one news site which I can’t remember, and it was info about the movie in the lead up to it (clearly remembering b&w images of Mystique and Sabretooth). I was so fucking excited to see this film. I still do watch it from time to time. To think that 24 years later, the same guy would still be whipping out those claws is quite unreal.
