A few sketches of vehicles from the Communist sphere of my cassette-futurist world, inspired by the likes of Blade Runner and Cyberpunk. My goal was to maintain a slightly more “classic” retro look which still looking practical and grounded, to contrast with Western and Japanese vehicles which often have more boxy or wedge-like, Syd Mead-ish appearances. I’m hoping to put out a few more of these collections with time.
Sometime in the 2080s, hovercars begin to get popular, but they don’t fully replace wheeled vehicles by the time mankind vanishes from the setting in 2095 — at which point the machine world’s saga begins.
