Who has access to these safes; Head of Security, Property Manager, Head of Housekeeping, and if your lucky: the housekeeping staff.

I don’t know I usually don’t bring valuables with me on vacation. There is nothing I am leaving in the room thag I would need to out on a safe.

Way better just to use a code. The credit card reader things can be finnicky. Then if it doesn’t work when you come back, you gotta get the hotel staff to unlock it for you anyway.

So many people have keys to these safes, that I don’t even bother with it anyway. Better to just hide things of value or keep them with me. Or give them to the front desk to put in the real safe.

The only benefit of the safe is being a place that you’ll remember where you put it.

    4. From a functionality standpoint its not a bad idea for a home safe but i dont like the idea just bc i could see a dystopian future where we have to pay to unlock doors and this is just leading to that
